Rob Barratt is a Growth Expert and Business Consultant based in Barcelona. He is the author of How (Not) To Start A Bagel Shop and specializes in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) for local service businesses.
Rob began his career as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, eventually specializing as a construction claims consultant. During this early part of his career, Rob earned a Masters in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution and became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators; working on mega projects in the UK, Macau, and Hong Kong.
He then transitioned into business ownership, co-founding R&R Bagels in Hong Kong. The business was featured in an Apple Business Case Study for its innovative use of operational technology. The brand was acquired just 25 months after opening.
Rob now works with local service business owners in the US, Canada, and Asia, creating systems that increase revenue and enable businesses to grow and scale. Rob speaks on AI adoption, lead generation, and market trends.
