About Rob Barratt
I’m Rob Barratt, a marketing and business growth expert, author, and speaker.

Most marketers are creatives who learned business later. I am a business operator who learned marketing out of necessity.
Before I ever designed a funnel, I built my career in high-stakes dispute resolution. I worked as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) at Systech International, an international consultancy, as well as Shinryo HK, a Japanese multi-national contractor. While there I became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb); managing commercial risks on mega-projects in the UK, Macau, and Hong Kong.
My job was to analyze hundreds, sometimes thousands, of data points to lay foundations for multi-million dollar claims, managing relationships with stakeholders including The MTR Corporation and operators like The Venetian Macao. Accuracy and the ability to factually interpret data were the only metrics that mattered.

From there, I pivoted to entrepreneurship, co-founding R&R Bagels in Hong Kong, growing the brand from an on-paper concept to a successful exit in just 25 months. We were featured in an Apple Business Case Study for our use of operational technology - a testament to my obsession with systems.
Today, I operate through my consultancy, Quantitiv, serving as a strategic growth partner to agencies and service businesses.

Currently, I serve as the Growth Lead for Optimized Marketing, helping the agency scale its operations and revenue across North America. Simultaneously, I founded and run The Industry Leaders, a publishing platform that enables PR agencies to access trusted media placements.

I help business owners stop guessing and start scaling. My work focuses on designing systems that increase revenue, specializing in Funnel Design, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), AI adoption, and data-driven lead generation.

These experiences shape how I think about growth: namely that growth isn't about magic or "hacks." It's about evidence, systems, and consistent execution.
